I search for stories when walking through forests, swimming in mountain rivers, on the train looking out of the window or at other commuters, and right at my feet if I crouch down and peer into the grass, pull a slug away from a leaf. I often work with ink and charcoal, as I find that they impose a certain pace, as well as collage, which leaves room for unexpected juxtapositions. I also create small books and zines to experiment with narrative and the book-form.
